About this artwork
My fascination with gates and portals, as well as with outer space and the countless possibilities it symbolizes for me, shapes this work. It depicts an airship about to enter a shimmering blue portal, leading to worlds and adventures unknown to us and to them. What awaits them on the other side? We may never know, but we wish them the best of luck.
