About this artwork
In ESSENTIA V, architecture and pictorial material intertwine in a dialogue between the visible and the essential. The living space, a symbol of human refuge, begins to dissolve between glazes, gestures, and abstract planes that question the boundaries between the constructed and the perceived.
Color—especially blues and violets—acts as emotional and vital energy, while white matter introduces a suspended, almost meditative silence. This contrast… between chromatic vibration and luminous stillness transforms the painting into a realm of introspection.
The work marks a transition toward the posthuman: architecture no longer belongs to the functional order, but to thought. Space ceases to be a physical refuge to become a perceptual field, where painting replaces structure and emotion replaces design.
In ESSENTIA V, figuration opens up to the territory of the conceptual, exploring the balance between order and dissolution.

I am a visual artist and art teacher. My work is part of the ESSENTIA project, an investigation into the foundations of human existence and the structures that mediate our relationship with the environment.
In this context, the ESSENTIA series forms the core of my practice. Through an architectural and minimalist pictorial language, I explore light, silence, and space as conceptual material. These compositions, dominated by whites and blues, question human presence through its absence.
My process, a hybrid of digital and manual techniques, is situated within posthumanist thought: the work emerges as an organism that integrates technology, matter, and consciousness. ESSENTIA reflects on the human condition, contemporary living, and the search for balance between control, displacement, and vulnerability.
