About this artwork
In ESSENTIA VII, I continue my exploration of the balance between space and humanity. I am interested in that point where architecture ceases to be mere form and becomes thought: a place that breathes. Always asking myself, what is truly essential? The pool and the sea share the same horizon, blurring the boundaries between the built and the natural; the water functions as both a border and a mirror of what is essential.
I work with a refined palette… of whites and blues to approach the absolute. Light is emotional and symbolic matter, and geometry is transformed into a silent atmosphere. A minimal gesture—a clothesline hanging on a line—breaks into the architectural perfection as a reminder of humanity and its vulnerability.
From a posthuman perspective, ESSENTIA VII proposes a way of inhabiting that transcends the physical: a space where architecture, landscape and mind converge to ask what it means to exist without occupying everything.

I am a visual artist and art teacher. My work is part of the ESSENTIA project, an investigation into the foundations of human existence and the structures that mediate our relationship with the environment.
In this context, the ESSENTIA series forms the core of my practice. Through an architectural and minimalist pictorial language, I explore light, silence, and space as conceptual material. These compositions, dominated by whites and blues, question human presence through its absence.
My process, a hybrid of digital and manual techniques, is situated within posthumanist thought: the work emerges as an organism that integrates technology, matter, and consciousness. ESSENTIA reflects on the human condition, contemporary living, and the search for balance between control, displacement, and vulnerability.
