About this artwork
This oil painting was created after a visit to the city of Strasbourg. It was spring and still chilly outside in the evenings, but we were still able to enjoy delicious tarte flambée outdoors. This painting depicts the walk to the tarte flambée restaurant in the evening. I love this atmosphere with the old buildings and the fairy lights.
It is painted with oil paint on loose canvas, which I later mounted on wood. This scene brings warmth and anticipation… into your home, inviting you to immerse yourself in this magical moment and feel the beauty of the instant.
