About this artwork
In the "DOOOONG" series, I also explore real silver leaf as a medium. The complementary colored glazes applied to the gilding resonate throughout the piece. The doooog has been subtly sanded to give it an antique appearance, which paradoxically contrasts with its thoroughly modern, abstract geometric character.
