About this artwork
Title - 'Particles'
Hundreds of 'particles' of various height birch ply combine in harmony to create this mesmerising mosaic.
Each block of birch has a topping, for the majority of the piece the tops are heavy acrylic mainly within the orange, white/buff and blue palette.
Several of the blocks are topped off with copper, some of the copper pieces are bright brushed copper while others are aged and hold the turquoise green patina. Some of the pieces… are topped with fluorescent perspex giving the work an occasional glossy pop.
This piece measures:
Height: 44 inches (112cm)
Width: 23 inches (58.5cm)
Depth: 1 inch (2.5cm)
A single recessed keyhole slot is installed on the back, so the piece is ready to hang with just one secure screw in a wall. The keyhole hanging method also allows the piece to hang flush and secure to the wall.
I have signed and dated the artwork on the back.
