About this artwork
This painting is a tribute to the Karnival season that is celebrated throughout the world. Having lived in The Netherlands for several years, I became fascinated with the Karnival tradition and the festivities surrounding the event. There was constant music, people and partying surrounding this famous event. All of the colors and costumes added to the overall effect.
