About this artwork
"In this work, I sought to convey not just the outward appearance, but the inner world of my subject. The face of the philosopher, his eyes filled with boundless contemplation, is a window into his soul, a place where experience and eternal questions collide. Every wrinkle, every brushstroke in his form is a trace of time, a sign of deep reflection and life lessons.
My goal was to create not just a portrait, but a space where the viewer can feel… the elusive transition from the material to the metaphysical. I wanted this painting to be something more than just an image of a person. It is a bridge between reality and what lies beyond it, full of symbols containing multilayered emotions."
« Where the spirit of the hand does not work, there is no artist. -Leonardo da Vinci »
