By working with texture, I sought to give substance to the intangible. The thick layers, applied with force, represent the sediments of our world, our roots and our earthly grounding. But look at this diagonal movement that pierces the painting: it is the passage of a comet, a spiritual vibration that reminds us that we are made of stardust.
