About this artwork
A sextant is a navigational instrument used to measure the angle between a celestial body and the horizon. Its main application is determining latitude or longitude in maritime navigation, allowing sailors to determine their location at sea using astronomical observations. I tried to interpret this idea into a technical drawing of an imaginable composition.
