About this artwork
Sometimes, not all is possibly reachable and it helps wishing for them from our well of wishes. From these, there are those special hopes and wishful thinking gives us hope, keeping us going. There is always a special wish in our heart and may it be tender.
This painting is a part of an abstract body of work which I work on from time to time, through psychic automatism and their purpose is for wellbeing, or to let slip the daily bothers.
My colour… scheme is generally intentionally chosen, as with this piece. It started with the colour and an idea, going along with what I felt was right. Being subtly easy on the eye, nothing is rigid or set with the purpose to be conveyed to the viewer, hoping acceptance and self-contemplation, or a tender wish.
The painting is done on a canvas in mixed media, looking complete with all four sides neatly painted in a very light khaki brown, almost borderless. My signature is placed on the back of the painting, as not to interfere with the viewing.
