About this artwork
I have always been mesmerised by waves of the Sea. Whenever I could do in my life, I would sit for long hours on the seashore and meditate on the ever-changing, beautiful nature of waves, enchanted by the Sea. I believe that the looking at such phenomena is truly a kind of meditation, that has the power and impact to elevate our souls and lift us above all earthly matters to a higher, heavenly state of consciousness, where death doesn't exist, just… a peaceful presence, an ever-changing facet of Holyness and the Divine. Just like Leonardo, I also believe, that by observing and studying patterns and structures of Nature and Matter, we can have a chance to glance at Infinite, and also to start to feel and grasp some traces of a mysterious, ultimate code to the Divine, the movement of energy and the true reason and functioning of the Universe and our existence.
Zsuzsa Sztruhár, a Hungarian fine artist and composer, employs a diverse range of mediums, from painting to sound and kinetic sculpture. Her dynamic applications of metaphysical and ontological conceptualism, blended with traditional painting and sound installation, underscore her technique. Each piece of work, whether it's an interactive sound instrument or an audiovisual installation, encapsulates a tangible heterogeneity. Sztruhár's works embody a mysterious borderline between fine arts and music, stirring emotions associated with the complexity of life's spiritual journey and the poignant beauty of the universe.
