About this artwork
“Trace” is a meditation on what remains — the imprints of time, touch, and transformation.
In this piece, I worked with the natural movement of molten beeswax, lime, and earth pigments, allowing them to form patterns that echo both scars and landscapes.
Each texture holds memory — the visible and invisible marks of healing.
The burnt sienna and ash tones remind me of how pain once etched itself into the body, while the soft layers of blue and cream… speak of renewal and calm acceptance.
For me, “Trace” is about embracing what cannot be erased — letting every mark become part of the story of resilience and beauty.
