About this artwork
This portrait represents human fragility, showing an attitude of vulnerability through the torn (lifted) paper and the ink on her face. Despite her vulnerability, or perhaps because of it, the portrait conveys inner strength to those who observe her gaze.
The work is made on paper and framed with glass protection and a beige and light wood mat.
