In this print JOY, semi-abstract and symbolic elements intertwine to weave a profound emotional narrative. The shades of blue and green used evoke a calm, almost mystical atmosphere, punctuated by flowing shapes and intricate lettering. This composition invites reflection on the fusion of text and image, questioning their meaning in our understanding. Your home will gain a layer of deeper reflection and contemplative calm through this art. Joy is… always in motion. It is an eternal dance in surrender to life. The acrylic glass print was made from the original, a high quality print that, just like the original, allows the text fragments from an old home liturgy to shine through. The hard time of misery is over, joy dances over it. The print is held on the sides by two wooden strips and can be placed anywhere.
My career as a painter began with my first pocket money, when I bought myself some wax crayons. I enthusiastically painted 'scratch pictures,' but over the years, the beginning of a potential career in painting was pushed aside by writing. In my hometown of Stuttgart, I trained as an editor at a daily newspaper, studied economics, and my heart belonged to journalism. With my three children, I discovered children's literature. I wrote children's radio plays for broadcasters and children's books for the Ravensburg publishing house. Others drew the wonderful illustrations. As a filmmaker, I accompanied the cameramen with language and content. Painting remained present in the background. In my current home of Berlin, my apartment has been transformed into a studio with a sawmill and lumberyard. I love it.
