About this artwork
Whirlpool is my tribute to motion itself — that endless spiral of energy that draws everything toward its centre. I wanted to capture the rhythm of flow, the calm inside the spin, and the beauty that forms when chaos becomes harmony.
Each line was hand-etched into aluminium, spiralling outward in precise, fluid motion. Shades of turquoise and silver merge like water and light in conversation, shifting as you move around the piece. The metallic dyes… and high-gloss finish amplify its movement, creating ripples of reflection that seem to breathe with the room.
For me, Whirlpool symbolises renewal — the cycle of motion, energy, and rebirth. It’s a reminder that even in turbulence, there’s grace, and even in constant motion, there’s stillness.
Owning Whirlpool means inviting that energy into your space — a mesmerising centrepiece that never stops moving, even when it stands perfectly still.
