About this artwork
I was on vacation in a village, one afternoon, late, I hear the sound of a sax, I get closer and what I see is the subject of this photo of mine. A beautiful woman accompanying musicians. I photograph them, I cannot convey the music to you, but the beauty of this woman can. It will then become part of many other photos, I owe one of my most beautiful adventures to it. The relationship of deep understanding that is created between the photographer… and the model, is very similar to a love affair. The intimacy that is created between photographer and model helps to break down mental barriers. And even nude photos, would be empty boxes, perhaps vulgar, if they did not reflect the understanding, the respect towards the model, and in the most sublime form the soul.
On the right of the photo a lantern of typical oriental style, in the center the model, on the left a sax in a jazz night in the east. Giclèe print on rigid photographic panel treated with scratch-resistant protective varnish.
« A labyrinth of real and surreal subjects where seduction is the red thread that binds and the dream is the cosmic space in which to take refuge and live. »
