About this artwork
This photo was taken on the Normandy coast, where American and British soldiers landed during World War II. The military construction sites are now visited by tourists and travelers. But for me, it's a visual metaphor: the old World War II bunker becomes an alien spaceship with its explorers aboard.

I am an Italian fine art photographer and visual artist. I have always been fascinated by the world of shapes and colors, and I studied analog and digital photography in Rome. I use film and medium format digital cameras. I don't pursue a specific photographic genre; my gaze always seeks to capture a moment of enchantment, suspended between stillness and mystery, in ordinary scenes—be they places, people, or objects. My goal is to convey a sense of wonder in the viewer and awaken a sense of déjà vu. My works have received several international photography awards and have been sold at international auction houses (Binoche et Giquello, Paris; Cambi, Milan). Each photograph is produced in a limited edition on signed paper and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and a printed catalogue of the works.
