About this artwork

In my creation entitled "Double Face", I chose to paint the two faces on separate cards, taking care not to get carried away by one of the halves made. Once the two paintings are finished, I carefully assemble them in order to adjust the alignment of the gaze and the lips. This approach gives the painting a unique dimension, which can be framed with two separate frames, creating a powerful visual sensation when the work is held in the hand.

In… this composition, I experiment with variations of whites, blacks and lilacs, trying above all to give a different depth to each face. To achieve this, I use an epibrush, wet cellulosic paper and a spatula, exploring different textures and techniques to create unique visual effects.
