About this artwork
This work was born from a search for the essential. Using only blue and white, I let the painting speak without artifice, allowing the light to filter in and the shadow to insinuate itself. Between glazes and transparencies, the silhouette of a reclining woman appears and disappears, like a memory slipping through the fingers. It's not a clear figure, because I wanted the viewer's imagination to complete it, making the story hidden here their own.…
The deep blue envelops, the white breathes... and together they construct a moment of calm, intimacy, and mystery. Anyone who contemplates it will know they're not just looking at a painting, but at a whisper of color waiting to find a place to linger.
