About this artwork
“Cascade” is part of a research project about the changing landscape, at the border between abstraction and sensory perception.
Through layering and fluid gestures, the work constructs a deep, almost immersive space where matter seems to be in constant motion. The shades of blue structure the composition and evoke both falling water and mineral formations or inner landscapes.
Far from a fixed representation, this piece offers an evolving visual… experience: depending on the distance and the light, new forms appear, inviting the gaze to move around and get lost.
This painting is part of a broader exploration of the memory of landscapes and their recomposition through the act of painting. Created in two intense sessions, it forms a central piece in a contemporary collection, capable of engaging in a dialogue with a strong architectural space.

INNER LANDSCAPES explores landscapes as interior spaces in motion. Nature is suggested through fluid structures. Each work becomes a mental territory, between memory and perception.
More conceptual in nature, STATES OF BECOMING explores the process of transformation of form. The works capture intermediate states between appearance and dissolution.
