About this artwork
When visiting an historical house modelled in the 1930's he was captivated by the beauty and style of the boudoir and bathrooms used by the principal occupant. This image features the tiled bathroom where the full length bath fills the recess where it stands complete with sponges. The wonderful colours of the tiling contrast superbly with the white of the bath and the ceiling.

His photographs, both analogue and digital, often employ a layering affect where a subject becomes doubled or tripled, thereby creating an illusion of volume, depth and spatiality. His photographs can reflect the imposing nature of urbanism and play with perspective to create an illusory world.
