Judith Riemer is a German contemporary artist whose abstract paintings explore the tension between movement and stillness. At the heart of her work are atmosphere, transition, inner rhythm, and the effect of presence in space.
Her works emerge intuitively in many layers. Gestural traces meet calm surfaces, density meets openness, control meets organic development. Light, expansiveness, and subtle tensions play a central role in this process.
Influenced by her past as an interior designer and her love for natural, organic rhythms, she creates works that feel present without being intrusive. Her painting is conceived as art born of time and becoming – an invitation to step out of the external pace for a moment and reconnect with one's own rhythm.
Her works are in private collections and have been exhibited internationally.
