About this artwork
In creating this work, I sought to capture the vibrant and dynamic essence of marine life. I used acrylics to interpret expressive beauty, making use of bold colors typical of Fauvism, with touches of expressionism that accentuate the emotional character. Depicting this lively and flowing figure, I immersed myself in figurative representation, to convey a sense of movement and vitality. This energetic canvas will add a touch of mystery and liveliness… to any environment, inviting reflection on the wonder of the ocean. The hypnotic and pulsating movements of the tentacles are caught in the expansion phase to form a star that occupies most of the canvas. the warm colour, between orange and yellow, of the suckers and tentacles contrasts with the intense blue of the abyss, creating effects of expressionist color contrasts that bring joy. the canvas is handcrafted and has a discreet thickness of 4 cm.
