Sometimes, creativity lies dormant…until it simply can’t wait another moment to burst forth. While writing my new book, I felt art calling me back to the canvas—and from that inner spark came Awakenings.
Like a radiant sunburst, Awakenings glows with warmth and hope, evoking the feeling of new beginnings and the quiet thrill of transformation. Crafted in plaster and mixed media, this 41" x 41" piece consists of four separate canvases unified on… a wood backing. The dimensional textures shimmer under changing light, offering fresh discoveries with every glance.
Slightly smaller than my other large-scale works, Awakenings is perfect for spaces that seek to inspire renewal without overwhelming the room. Its theme and harmonious composition make it ideal for healing environments—hospitals, spas, wellness centers, or any place where art can foster peace, connection, and the courage to begin anew.

I was born in Germany and now live with the love of my life between two places that inspire my soul—the Sequoia National Forest in California and the rolling hills of Umbria, Italy. I am a self-taught artist and author who has held a pencil, a crayon, or a paintbrush in my hand since childhood. Before becoming a full-time artist, I built and ran a multimillion-dollar company and later turned my journey of transformation into books about healing and authenticity. My art is deeply textured and vibrant, created with plaster, paint, and found materials. I believe art is more than decoration—it heals. Science confirms it changes brain chemistry, calms the nervous system, and lifts the spirit. I intend to create work that not only enhances a space but also quietly touches everyone who enters it—inviting peace, joy, and truth.
