About this artwork
When I created Child’s Play, I wanted to capture the pure joy that lives inside each of us — the part that existed before the world told us who we should be. As I spread color and plaster across the canvas, the turquoise and red seemed to come alive on their own, dancing together like children on a playground, fearless and free.
This piece is a reminder that creativity isn’t something we learn — it’s something we remember. Every layer of texture… invites touch, coaxing the senses awake. When the light moves across the surface, it releases a kind of energy — a vibration that changes the mood in the room and, subtly, the chemistry in the brain. It’s art that doesn’t just decorate; it elevates.
For me, Child’s Play is a love letter to innocence. It’s about reconnecting with that unfiltered part of ourselves that still believes in beauty, laughter, and possibility. When you live with this piece, it’s like opening a window to joy — a portal back to the freedom of your own imagination.

I was born in Germany and now live with the love of my life between two places that inspire my soul—the Sequoia National Forest in California and the rolling hills of Umbria, Italy. I am a self-taught artist and author who has held a pencil, a crayon, or a paintbrush in my hand since childhood. Before becoming a full-time artist, I built and ran a multimillion-dollar company and later turned my journey of transformation into books about healing and authenticity. My art is deeply textured and vibrant, created with plaster, paint, and found materials. I believe art is more than decoration—it heals. Science confirms it changes brain chemistry, calms the nervous system, and lifts the spirit. I intend to create work that not only enhances a space but also quietly touches everyone who enters it—inviting peace, joy, and truth.
