About this artwork
To paint a sculpture is to touch eternity.
Apollo rises from the canvas the way marble rises from stone — slowly, inevitably, as if he was always there and the paint simply revealed him. Serene. Ideal. Almost untouchable.
Almost.
Because perfection alone is cold. Admired, respected, and never truly felt.
So I gave him a tiger.
Not as decoration. Not as symbol. As truth.
The white tiger carries everything the marble cannot — warmth, breath, the electricity… of a creature that has never doubted its right to exist. His eyes don't worship Apollo. They simply meet him. As equals.
This is what I believe about strength: it is not the suppression of the wild. It is the moment the wild and the formed look at each other and neither one blinks.
Apollo doesn't tame the tiger.
He stands beside him — and together they become something neither could be alone.
