About this artwork
Using acrylics and ink, the semi-abstract figures are rendered as rhythmic shadows that evoke a simultaneous sense of connection and isolation. This concept continues my exploration of backstory for the "anonymous individual," representing the constant, flowing pulse of a city that belongs to everyone and no one at once. The title suggests a bittersweet reflection on time—the "days" that have passed, yet remain etched into the physical landscape…
of the street. It is a meditation on the permanence of place versus the transient nature of the human journey.
