About this artwork
“Inner Peace” is a light object from my “Burning Blacklight” cycle that creates an atmosphere of harmony and serenity. On linen, I combine fluorescent layers of color in blue, green and bright red, which are refined by fire and are reminiscent of the dazzling beauty of Australian opals - inspired by my time in Australia.
In the center of the work I have integrated synthetic resin crystals that contain fluorescent elements and artfully folded structures.… This technique creates fascinating light refractions and impressive depth. The square light frame complements the work of art and allows the light intensity to be flexibly adjusted so that the object shines again and again depending on the lighting conditions.
For me, “Inner Peace” is more than art – it is an invitation to pause and experience the transformative power of light and color. A piece that celebrates natural beauty and inspires inner balance.

Born in Austria, I discovered my passion for the art of engraving and steel engraving early on, a passion later expanded through the transformative power of fire in my Burningpictures.
