About this artwork
"Magic Light" is a radiant light object from my "Burning Blacklights" cycle that combines the magic of light and structure in a unique way. The composition of vibrant colors, shimmering materials and delicate details creates an ethereal atmosphere that invites you to linger and explore.
The work combines fire-worked elements, intense color pigments and precious metals, which are brought to life by the integrated LED mounts. The dynamic play of… light reveals a mysterious multidimensionality that changes depending on the perspective. Like a sparkling window into another world, the individual elements reflect light and shadow, create a sense of depth and inspire a dialogue between the viewer and the work of art.
“Magic Light” is an experience that goes beyond the purely visual – an invitation to experience light and color as living, transformative forces.

Born in Austria, I discovered my passion for the art of engraving and steel engraving early on, a passion later expanded through the transformative power of fire in my Burningpictures. Using mixed media on linen, wood, and ceramics, I employ fire as a central design element. In my Burningpictures, I reveal the hidden secrets of nature and invite the viewer to experience the ever-changing interplay of light, color, and texture. The fire creates a magical visibility of the invisible—a powerful and liberating transformation.
