About this artwork
The collage was created during the pandemic, the idea was born out of an awareness of the value of the current moment and the need to create with available resources. The tools at hand have become a symbol of inner self-improvement.
Work is directly related to the awareness of humanity, which begins with self-acceptance and healing.
Silvery elements, as in the Japanese philosophy of Kintsugi, scars and imperfections acquire a new beauty, reflecting… the fragility and uniqueness of the soul. It is only through conscious self-improvement, reflection, and acceptance of vulnerabilities that a person becomes able to support others and change the world.
Each puzzle symbolizes sincerity and love of creativity, and the use of recycled materials emphasizes the connection with nature and responsible consumption. "Transformation" reminds us that every crisis is a path to renewal, whereby by piecing ourselves together, we gain the power to change the world for the better.
Vita Daneva, an artist from Moldova, works diversely across painting, textiles, digital, and conceptual visual arts. She creates art using form, colours, and unexpected materials, transforming fragments of impressions into harmonized realities. Her intimate works echo her deep philosophical observations, perfused with messages about time, ecology, and human interconnectedness.
