About this artwork
My impressions from a hike along the Baltic Sea.
The sheer power of huge, light clouds hovering over a greenish abyss of water.
Using oil paints, I used a mixture of painting techniques, infused with impressionistic touches, to evoke the fleeting light and texture of the clouds. My goal was to show how vibrant and saturated in colour a cloudy day can be.
