About this artwork
This painting is called Winterland, and is part of a small series of winter landscapes. I wanted to bring the viewer a wide and spacious, dreamy and clear panorama. Underneath this painting are a lot of layers, which shine through the whites and give it a colorful depth. « I like to play with reality, colors, light, shapes, movements, and transform images. They might appear a little distorted, even if realistic, but I always search for harmony. »
Bea Evers is an artist based in the Netherlands whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and in Italy.
