About this artwork
Waterfalls are so mesmerizing! I painted a small series of them, all in different colors. This one has the spring feeling to it, soft colored as it is. As always in my paintings I want to show the openness of nature, and the joy it can bring. So here it is, a spring splash waterfall. I painted it in acrylics and drew in it with pencils, as I usually do. The painting is protected by a UVLS varnish.

« I like to play with reality, colors, light, shapes, movements, and transform images. They might appear a little distorted, even if realistic, but I always search for harmony. »
Bea Evers is an artist based in the Netherlands whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and in Italy. While the themes in her works have changed throughout the years, her current pieces are primarily semi-abstract landscapes. Evers describes her art as an invitation to the viewer to feel a sense of spaciousness, while also "giving the eye something to search for". She most often creates using acrylics and charcoal on wood or canvas.
