Subsequently, designer at VEB Solidor Dresden; 1989 - 2002 designer and partner at VEB Designprojekt Dresden/Designprojekt GmbH Dresden
Self-employed since 2002. Resident and working in the Rhineland near Bonn since 2005.
Eberhard Marx is a painter and draftsman who masters Old Master painting and drawing techniques in the style of magical realism, fusing gestural lines with richly detailed symbolism and fairytale architecture. His works create a dense atmosphere between dream and history, captivating with dramatic stylistic shifts and transporting the viewer into suspenseful, enigmatic pictorial worlds full of emotion and depth.
