About this artwork
For a long time, Achezegag had been plagued by the desire to achieve a human scale. Inspired by a pair of pebbles, stones associated to shape the buttocks of the character, the rest of the sculpture was made from this hook. Then the "puzzle" took shape around these stones. Once again for the sculptor, it was a question of evoking both the strength and the fragility of the human being.

« These bodies in movement, some in pain, end with hieratic, expressive heads, taking on a universal dimension. In the end, it is through the repetition of the gesture that my doubts dissipate. »
