About this artwork
Inspired, fascinated by Greek mythology, like many other artists, Achezegag offers here his representation of the Minotaur. If his attitude seems determined in his approach in particular, Achezegag suggests here a gentler being less threatening than that of the legend... he humanizes him to a certain extent or animalizes him according to the point of view.

« These bodies in movement, some in pain, end with hieratic, expressive heads, taking on a universal dimension. In the end, it is through the repetition of the gesture that my doubts dissipate. »
