About this artwork
I like the idea of flight. I often represent my characters with wings, like Icarus. I am indeed fascinated by Greek mythology.
Here, I tried to play on the opposition between the wings which suppose the lightness and the solidity, the rooting of my character in steel. I take pleasure in mixing, playing on the contrasts.

« These bodies in movement, some in pain, end with hieratic, expressive heads, taking on a universal dimension. In the end, it is through the repetition of the gesture that my doubts dissipate. »
