About this artwork
"Pensieri lucenti" is part of about thirty digital photography works I created for a solo exhibition at the Club Conti in Milan held in 2007 and curated by the art historian Prof. Carlo Franza.
Specifically for this work, I wanted to play with the model's complexion and the baroque fabric background. The fabric, which extends over the woman's head, playfully becomes a luminous expression of her thoughts, while also lending the image a sense of regal… grandeur.
I always tend to create a contrast between the smoothness of the model's skin and the movement of the background that interacts with the human figure.
