Patinated and polished bronze.
In this bronze, I imagined Jesus at the moment of his Resurrection.
As if his “new” body emerged from the linen, piercing it, crossing it.
Some parts of the body have already emerged and others are still covered.
I gave a greyish patina to the sheet to create a contrast with the shine of the bronze in the body of Christ, in order to… give the sense of a luminous body standing out from the grey matter.
