About this artwork
Behind her, the chaos of Théodore Géricault's The Raft of the Medusa unfolds in charcoal and shadow: desperate bodies, stretching, struggling to survive. A red flag rises in the distance—the same red she wears—as if the revolution and its invisibility shared a color but not a destiny.
She is not watching the battle. She is simply there,… present in the fullest sense of the word, and yet absent where it matters: in the eyes of others.
Fragments of Being begins here—not with the broken or the fallen, but with the one who is in plain sight and yet disappears. Presence and invisibility are not opposites. In this painting, they are the same person.

Credentials
- Works on commission
He has conceived collections that inhabit their own conceptual universes: the human psyche and its emotions, pre-Hispanic mythology, the movement of the body, the tensions between opposites. His most celebrated work, "Aurum Nostrum," pays homage to the great masters of Western art, transmuting them into a profoundly contemporary language.
Academic realism with the soul of Magical Realism. Precise human figures inhabiting abstract and dreamlike spaces. His technique combines classical and contemporary styles, experimenting with gold, geometry, and color on a grand scale. His works convey wonder and reflection, inviting an emotional and universal experience that reconciles the ancestral with the modern.
