This painting captures something I have noticed on every summer holiday: the way a truly beautiful beach makes stillness impossible. You came to relax, but the light is too good, the water too blue, the waves too perfect. Every moment demands… to be lived. You can sleep in winter.
The palette is built on deep, saturated blues and greens — the particular intensity of tropical water in full sun — against the warm ochre of the sand. Acrylic on canvas, 20 × 30 cm.
