Hope, transformed into a woman, gazes longingly at the sky and, while wrapping herself up, also shelters the world.
"But that woman, removing with her hands the great lid of the tub, scattered them and prepared sad calamities for the men.
Only Hope remained inside, within its indestructible walls, under the rims of the jar, and did not fly out towards the door, for Pandora had first put the lid on the jar, by the will of Zeus, bearer of the aegis… and gatherer of clouds."
