The emerald water shimmers like the facets of a precious gem, stirred gently by the breeze.
The soft, humid air wraps the bay, almost tangible to the viewer.
New travelers arrive - are they as enchanted by this place as we are?
Or are they lost in their own thoughts, unaware of its beauty?
Perhaps those who work on these boats no longer… see it at all.
But we did and we’ve kept it, both in memory and in this small piece of canvas.
Painted in an impasto technique with a palette knife.

Born in an artistic family, Varvara Efimova merges her 13-year academic training in fine arts with contemporary stylistic elements.
