About this artwork
Even though this still life has a clear appearance, there are a lot of colors underneath in which I found these shapes. It has the beauty of colors shining through the whites. Sometimes you don't have to invent, instead, just follow what is already there!

« I like to play with reality, colors, light, shapes, movements, and transform images. They might appear a little distorted, even if realistic, but I always search for harmony. »
Bea Evers is an artist based in the Netherlands whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and in Italy. While the themes in her works have changed throughout the years, her current pieces are primarily semi-abstract landscapes. Evers describes her art as an invitation to the viewer to feel a sense of spaciousness, while also "giving the eye something to search for". She most often creates using acrylics and charcoal on wood or canvas.
