About this artwork
In this work, I develop a scene where a horse emerges from a surreal landscape. I treat the image as a territory in transition, where natural forms blend with imagined structures that alter the perception of the environment.
The horse appears as a moving presence, emerging from within the painting itself, as if the landscape were generating it. I'm interested in that point where the figure is constructed at the same time as the space that surrounds… it.
Through painting I seek to create a situation where the real and the imagined share the same plane, activating an open and changing visual experience.
