About this artwork
Upcycling work, made of pixels cut from cans collected here and there. The support is also made from recycled PVC advertising panels.
Playing with the raw metallic aspect of aluminum (the back of the cans), giving the impression of braiding, I give the colored "flashes" a dynamic by creating subtle gradients and vivid contrasts. Contrasts between the back and the front, the static and the dynamic movement, and between raw material and use in an… object of universal consumption.
