About this artwork
The Lonely Tree is an acrylic painting, with plaster reliefs and touches of gold leaf, framed in dark blue. For me, it represents the strength we display every day, amidst all the beauty that surrounds us. The tree, alone but strong, stands firm against the elements—just as we do in our lives.
I really enjoyed painting this picture because it allows me to express myself freely, without filters. It's a piece of me, placed on the canvas.
Gold leaf… is applied to several areas of the painting, and it will shine under the light.
The canvas is glued onto a wooden panel, which gives it a different look from traditional canvases thanks to the texture of the support, which creates slight effects.
