About this artwork
I painted this picture surrounded by cows and pheasants. I wanted to celebrate the beauty of Cornish coombes and imagine all the wildlife that could be supported by long corridors of protected environment.
I have devised ways of leading the eye around the painting and on into the distance. This is a peaceful pastoral view of a patchwork of country-side that has much detail to hold interest.
