About this artwork
This piece is all about flow and feel. I lost myself in the flow of the plaster under my fingers as it ran grooves and shaped the silky roundness of the forms. And when i was finished, I realised I had made a beautiful expression of isolation, communicating a yearning and profound need for meaningful human connection. In this we see the potential for even the most isolated souls to make meaningful connections with others, if only they could surrender themselves to the universal flow.
